Bees, Wasps and Ants

 

Bees, wasps and ants are a group of insects which are members of the Hymenoptera order, this order includes all the sawflies, hornets, bees, wasps, and ants. Hymenoptera species mostly have two pair of membranous wings (hymenoptera means membrane wings). Apart from worker caste ants and some species of female wasps which are wingless. The mouth parts are of the chewing mandibulate type and in the bees the lower lip is like a modified tongue.
